I had a very busy day.  I hit many garage sales.  Got a Shirley Temple milk pitcher for $8!  I got some other goodies and a nice oak table to use as a computer desk for my old computer in my conference room at the office.  I got it for $30!  And I got a new table for Edith since she now has room for it.  With all the running around and moving things, I was readly to just sit here tonight

I was in Shopko looking at new desks and tables (none of them would have worked) when I saw a sign for flu shots, so I got one.  She must have poked the needle in a bad spot because my shoulder muscle really seized up around the needle.  It was stiff tongiht so I took an Aleve and it's helped

I'm watching 9/11 stuff on TV.  It's made me tear up a lot more often than I expected.   I really do want to go to the memorial on my next trip to New York.

Ouch.

Yes, ouch!  I'm glad you are feeling better & hope you don't come down with something so soon after getting the shot.

Congrats on your garage sale finds.

All this talk about shots, I almost forgot to take mine.  It was the thought of the stinging sensation that reminded me, not that mine always sting. ;)

Well, I'm at my sister's house, ketchuping on HHW and my e-mail.  The reason that I'm at my sister's is that my cable Internet access has stopped and I don't know why!  My TV is fine, though.  I called Comcast and the technician worked with me for about 30 minutes over the phone, doing different things from his end and things on my end.  Nothing worked. :P So, someone is going to come to my house on Monday, between 10 am and noon.

AARRGGHH!!  I hate it when this happens.

Yikes!  I've never had anything like that happen to me!  Hope your shoulder feels better quickly!!

This day is needlessly frustrating and I'm having visions of killing a co-worker. Because he's a control freak, everything in rthis office is under his thumb abnd since he's out of the country, nothing is workable.

If you decide to make your vision a reality, plan carefully.  You don't want to get caught.

And whatever you do Larry...DON'T post about it ANYWHERE on the Internet!!

Well, my time with my sister's computer is over.  I'm going to a Seattle Storm basketball game tomorrow, so I should be able to check in before we leave.

HOPEFULLY, all will be well with my computer on Monday!  I feel like I'm practically going through withdrawals!

;)

Be back...some time.

Thanks, I'm sure my arm will be ok, the aleve worked tonight. DR Jane, I never get sick from flu shots.  If anything I feel better since I got it.  The one year I didn't get a shot I got VERY sick with the flu.  I won't miss it again

I didn't think it would make you sick, only worse if you were already sick.  I'm glad it made you feel better. :)

Cillaliz, keep taking the aleve regularly for a couple days, even though you think you don't need it. It should help keep the inflammation down if you don't let it wear off.

Thanks DR Laura....Aleve is my friend.  I don't take it every day, but don't hesitate to take it in times like this

Accuweather is showing we are getting rainstorms in my zip code. It's one of those 0.00 rainstorms.
