That was great, John. Who was in the green dress at the end?
I was thinking it might have been Kate Smith. I wondered that myself.

Kate Smith?
Great minds, eh?

Speaking of Ann Miller, remember this classic commercial?

Watching the Lucy-Desi 1 hour shows.  I must have seen them before but really don't remember some.   The Tallulah Bankhead episode is the best, I would say.

My all-time favorite!  "When Miss Bankhead is bored, Miss Bankhead will let you know."

Ricky: "Lucy's putting on a show for the PTA."
Talulah:  "PT What?"

Listening to the Victor Herbert piano solos CD that our own Elmore produced. Just lovely music to get some work done to.

My first thought was my other favorite singer: Mrs. Miller

They play a note, like on the piano, and then I remember it to this day. And then they’d ask you other questions, and then they’d play notes later on, and they’d say, ‘Which is the note we played from one hour ago?’ And I’d, like, get it right, I guess.”

I saw another friend today who was stunned at how much weight I have lost.  I figured it is about 35 pounds, but she thinks it is a lot more than that.

So if my new thinner self was found fast asleep on the front lawn, what movie title would I be?

I was goiing to go pick out a new recliner for my place today, but it seemed silly since I wouldn't really be able to figure out which one was most comfortable.

So, my friend Betzy and I decided that shopping for the recliner would be my first outing after rehab.

Sounds like a good incentive!

Whichever rehab may come first.

Did you need to lose that much weight, TCB? I lost about 20 after my surgery, and I don't think I needed to lose that. I have put back maybe five pounds. I want to keep the rest off, though.

I think it's Kate Smith as well.....and yes, The Hollywood Palace.

However....the penultimate version of Web of Love is by actress/singer extradinaire....Joi Lansing.

This should help you as you recover, less weight to hold up. ;)  Just don't lose too much.

Trivia mavens of HHW.  There is a seller on Ebay who insists that this is a photo of Annette Funicello.  I know who is ISN'T (Annette) - but WHO is it?   ;D

Nope, I hadn't planned on it; but then I didn't plan on being in a wheelchair either.
