I have totally vegged today.  It finally dawned on me that in the past 4 weeks, I've gone out of town during 3 of them and the 4th was that busy Middfest week.  No wonder I'm tired.

We're about to watch the Cincinnati Bengals play against the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Probably won't be pretty...

It should be entertaining.  It sounds like a better choice to watch than the National League playoffs.

I really really really hate these campaign ads!

It would be bad enough with just the candidates, but we also have the issuses of gay marraige and legalizing marijuana that fill in all the blank spots between the smear campaigns we have for governor, attorney general, etc. here in Washington.  Oh yeah, and also President.

Sadly, nothing fun, Jane. We had a potluck at church, and I helped with the dishes. The dishes have to be almost clean before they go into the dishwasher, and the commercial sink is so low that it all just really hurts my back. Then some folks from church came to see my yard, and I let their six-year-old grandson tag the two monarchs that eclosed this morning.

This is the bagabook website:

http://www.bagabook.com
http://www.bagabook.com/Products/Store_/tabid/87/CatID/6/Default.aspx

The one i have is executive croc look black.

That's really cool!  I saw one for a Kindle as well.  Can you use this for your Kindle?

I have two paperbacks I'm saving for my flights to Cozumel in case my Nook runs out of battery.  Otherwise I'm basically using the Nook.

Half the time I read on my side and/or under the covers.  I wonder if this would work then.   I fold my Nook back so it is half the size and it is pretty comfortable.  The size is why I don't get an iPad which is superior.

I already have a  case for my kindle. But i couldn't use this specific thing for my kindle. IT has to have a front and back cover to stick in the front and back.  I didn't think i would love it this much. But I"ve been sticking every book i have in it (if i own the book i take off the cover first).  It fits most books except very large hardcovers.

I can see why you enjoy it so much.  The handle for carrying it is great.

It's being of an age when losing weight is truly almost impossible and gaining weight is almost impossibly easy.  It's annoying but one must deal with it as one must.  I fluctuate, oh, yes, I fluctuate, but this year has been so busy that jogging has not happened on too many occasions, and I'm also a little bored of it.  But if I get my metabolic rate back up and then eat under 1200 calories every day for two weeks, I will lose ten pounds pretty quickly.

I can understand that.  It is tough for me because I had to start eating regularly again, to regain my health.  But I am not able to go walking or do most other types of excercise, so eating right is going to start having a negative effect.

You can eat right without increasing the quantity of food by too much.  I know though, when I don't exercise the weight goes up.

How very special for the six-year-old.

Sorry about that sink.  I would not like it.

Why would I want to eat right?  Food is one of the few pleasures I have left.

Because eating right will help you feel better, plus gaining too much weight will make it more difficult to walk.

If only I took my own advise more often.  The junk I ate today without exercising has had a negative effect on me.

Speaking of eating, DR TCB, are you watching the Cincinnati/Pittsburgh game?  They just showed the assembly of Skyline chili and coneys.

Watching a very interesting motion picture that I've somehow never managed to see and I think most people in the world would also be in the same boat as me.

It is a pretty funny movie, and I that it was fun to spoof the old British Carry On film titles.

I had to stop the film in order to watch tonight's episode of THE WALKING DEAD. Once scene made both Freddy and myself literary jump up out of the chair. Scared the bejeebers out of me!

This last week I FINALLY watched the 1931 and 1941 versions of DR JEKYLL AND MR HYDE....believe it or don't, I had never seen either one. Now I am eager to catch some other versions, plus rewatch the 1970s Bollywood version.

PS: I think I preferred the 1941 version over the 1931 version, but enjoyed both.
