I use seasoned bread crumbs,  a couple of eggs, Lipton's beefy onion soup mix (reconstituted with a  little boiled water and some red cooking wine)  and once the lovely loaf is made  a  little beef broth  is poured over and around to help make a the base for a nice brown gravy --
and little new potatoes  should be placed all around  it in a pan so that they can  roast in the drippings
Bruce I think you might have to  quadruple your jog to work off  the dinner but it is delish
