My question for ASK BK day....since we can also ask other Dear Reader's.....where were you born.....and where do you live now....and how many states have you lived in in between?
Mine is easy:  Indiana.
 I was born in
Ft. Rucker, Alabama (my dad was in the army...I have no familial or emotional ties to the south,
whatsoever).  We lived there for about a year, and then we lived in
Georgia;
California;
San Antonio, Texas and then
Kaiserslautern, Germany by the time I was four years old.  While we lived there, I went to kindergarten and first grade, and then we moved to
Ft. Carson, Colorado.  We lived there until the beginning of fifth grade (the only time I moved during a school year), when we moved here to
Lacey (just north of Olympia), Washington, when my dad retired from the army.  My parents still live in the house that they bought in 1976, when I was 10 years old.
While here in Washington, I've lived in
Lacey (with my family),
Bellingham (while going to Western Washington University),
Tumwater (with a roommate),
Lacey (on my own in an apartment),
Tumwater (with my sister and niece in their house), an apartment on the
west side of Olympia.  My sister had a new house built and I rented her older house in
Tumwater with a roommate.  He got married (but I kept his cat...his girlfriend then fiancée then wife then ex-wife was allergic) and then I bought my condo in
Tumwater, whence I shall never move again.
  So, to tally it all up:
six states and
two countries.
