I read the book and saw it (don't remember which I did first) at the -- Village Theater? I think. Haven't seen it since. Rough story, and sometimes I think I wouldn't even like it now. But who knows.

John, I think you ought to try and become a contestant on THE AMERICAN BAKING COMPETITION. I don't know if they are going to have a second season, but I imagine CBS doesn't mind having, yet another, reality show on their schedule. Anyway, I think you would be perfect for the show. I think first prize is something like a quarter of a million dollars.

They are legal to buy here, but not legal to set off in most cities around Phoenix. But there is no way to enforce it, really.

Nothing at the moment. But I have just seen Tim Burton's DARK SHADOWS on subscription TV which I thought was great - even if few other people liked it.

I used to have the LOOKING FOR MR GOODBAR soundtrack on Cassette! Wonder where it is...but yes a CD would be nice. Not crazy about the movie....but it is certainly sort of a time capsule of a specific time...

For the last few days my facebooks pages have been filled with people frustrated with the constant fireworks and fearful pets. I have a friend in Washington who said next year she wants to take her crew to Canada.

Have you asked it the smoking area can be moved? The idea is that these areas don't send smoke to non smokers. I, unlike you, often need to cover my mouth and nose when I pass a smoker.

DR Jennifer, across the river from us is South Dakota where fireworks are legal for a certain time period. So, people just have to go across the river an buy them. There are really too many for the police to enforce. They don't really even try, which everyone knows, so no one is afraid to get them and shoot them off

The neighbor has a strip of grass across from my house she has to mow. She didn't know and someone turned her in to the weed police. She got a notice that she had to clear it or they would and charge her for it. She thought I did it. She heard me talking to the neighbor and realized I didn't. I even told her I'll mow it now that it's been mowed down and will be easy to maintain. That sort of caught her off guard and I think she really will try to work with me.

She has to take a mower up a big hill round the corner and down. It would be a pain in the butt. I just have to go across the street and mow two small strips
