I think they spent less than $10 on the production values in this music video:

As much as that?!

Well, I must be leaving.  My friend Pug is having a party at her house while her husband and son are back east visiting his (the husband's) family.  It was announced to start at 7:30, so I'm a little late, but parties at Pug's generally go on for many hours and have even been known to end after breakfast.  I won't stay that late, but I'll definitely be there for a while.  First, though, I have to get something to bring.  Then, it's party time!

Until later...much later!

Perhaps Emily Dickinson stayed in her room because of the food stains on her clothes.

Did you know cats can't taste sweet?

I did not.   The things you can learn on HHW!       :)

They do if you dip them in honey before you fry 'em up

Because snow in August would just be plain silly.

If DR TCB thanks each DR individually, we'll be at page 10 before you know it!

If more people liked me, we could make it to page 15.

But who cares about "like," when you've got e-family who loves you?

I took today off as a vacation day but did nothing but chores and stuff, including 6 (six) loads of laundry! That is a lot of laundry for one person.

This evening I went to the India-US group meeting. We talked about last week's picnic and began plans for the upcoming Diwali festival. I was put in charge of food, which means that I must make the arrangements with the caterer. All of the Indians in the group agreed on one particular restaurant to cater the food and 4 of us went over this evening to talk with the owner about catering the event.

I think the talk went well..of course they were all talking in languages other than English. So I just sat there, smiled and nodded a lot.

Thankfully, they will be paring me with a university student from India for this work..cause I don't speak Punjabi and the caterer doesn't speak English.

Still, it is all a lot of fun.
