Topic of the Day:

My favorite nuts are probably cashews.  I love them, especially when roasted and a little salty.  I love them on pizza, too!  I also really like (in no particular order):  peanuts, pecans (especially as pecan pie), almonds, hazelnuts (especially in chocolate bars or Nutella), walnuts (especially in chocolate chip cookies), coconuts, and an honorary nut:  sunflower seeds. :)

I only like macadamia nuts when they're in chocolate.  And I don't like Brazil nuts at all. :P

A legend in broadcasting and a staple of my Sunday BBC listening queue

David Jacobs

has passed away at 87. I listened to his show every Sunday when the BBC started streaming their programming. From what I can tell he was a much loved presenter and will be missed by the BBC and many others.
