Yep other dogs can be trouble. Today there was a lady walking her two little dogs on the bike path (not the path at the lake). One of the dogs tried to jump in front of my bike.

I wasn't close to hitting him since I was riding as far from him as possible. And i had my hands on my brakes. But I don't get it. There was a huge green space beside the bike path. Why have your dog walking on a bike path if you know your dog is likely to jump in front of a bike. Just not safe for the dog.

I added to my comment, bigger as in dogs larger than Sherlock was.

Echo was a bike jumper/chaser and I worked very hard at breaking her of that habit. I had to watch carefully for bikes and tell her to "leave" before she even began to chase. I then did the same with Sherlock. I don't get those idiots either.

DR John G - I made an apple pie, it was very good, I made an apple crisp, it was also very good. I gave a bag of apples to Paul. I still have a bunch in my fridge. Edith doesn't like apples. So, I haven't been able to take what I make to work and that's a problem because I eat the whole thing. Over a number of days, but still.

Bob starts sharing space on Monday, so I'm planning to make a pie or something and take it to work. I'm sure he'll appreciate apple pie and there never is much going on in the beginning.

RH was writing one of his first drafts when I was doing a murder trial. We had many good discussions about all sorts of law and justice issues. I didn't know he was working on it at the time but he did say several times that something or other was like A Time To Kill. I found out later why he kept making that reference. That's why I really want to go. I'm very curious to see how his adaptation turned out.

He was also on a jury not to long before that. It was a criminal case. So he has a perspective that many of us never get to have of a trial.

DR Jane if you get a bigger dog can you just walk him around your property when you are alone. And only take the dog to the hiking paths when Keith is with you and can control the leash?

Watching "Evil Under the Sun." Love the use of the Cole Porter music in the background and the bitchy nature of the script always makes me smile. I know the movie is not well regarded, but I find it a guilty pleasure.

Tomorrow is a dedicated listen to DEAREST ENEMY, a few hours practice on I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE, and a couple of good movies. And damn it, that's all. The day is mine. All mine!
