What a great idea! Use peanut butter cookies to make peanut butter & jelly "sandwiches"!

I just learned that Matt Gould, who I knew when he was a teen and he later recorded the demo version of my musical, HAIL ON THE CHIEF!, has a new musical he co-wrote, INVISIBLE THREAD, playing off-Broadway.

Congrats!

We're back from seeing the lights and it was Shore Acres, Jane!  We got there at about 4:00 pm.  It wasn't very crowded and the lights were on.  We walked around for a little over an hour and looked at all the wonderful lights.  It was really nice...cold, but nice.

We left after it started getting dark and as a LOT more people were just arriving.  We got there early enough to avoid the huge crowd. :D

After we left, we drove by an accident that had only happened a few minutes before.  I only saw one car and it was upside down!  I didn't see any bodies, so I hope that the driver is okay.

There weren't any emergency vehicles there yet, but other cars had stopped, so we didn't.  About a minute after we passed the accident, a police car raced toward the accident from the direction we were heading.  We just came home and now we're playing Phase 10.

Back from the fundraiser. I won't know the total until tomorrow, but I think it was a success.

The pasta buffet was awesome. I think the tomato basil was best, but it was close.

My mom always followed the recipe on the back of the toll house chocolate chips packet

That's the recipe I use

Today I made a home made pot pie for the first time.  The recipe was for a regular sized pie so that's what I made.  It was good!  A little runny, but it was my first try.  I still have lots left and very few other turkey left overs.  I'm really glad because I'm getting very tired of turkey

We're expecting a big snow storm on Monday.  6-10 inches of snow predicted.  Some models make it closer to a foot.  Will be very anxious to see how much we get.

I was planning to be home Monday morning for the electrician to come and replace a light switch.  Don't know if he'll come now.

I did go to the office and packed up a brief case of work just in case I need to work from home on Monday.  I do have one appointment scheduled, but I can easily cancel that if need be

On the dinner alone, we made $1590,  but I have no idea what we made on the raffle and the silent auction.

Actually, I'm not much of a snooper these days.  I was as a kid.  Never found anything very interesting

That's good for the dinner.  Did you sell lots of tickets?  Was it only a raffle silent auction or could you sign up for things too

I've been playing a lot of candy crush.  Can't believe how long I've been playing that game. I'm almost to level 800

I think I was actually just curious.  I didn't really care if I found anything, just curious about everything when I was a kid

There was a raffle and then we're a lot of items on the silent auction tables.
