Well, you've read the notes, the notes were in mothballs, and now it is time for you to post until the mothballed cows come home.

TOD

Since I couldn't think of anything I was going to make a joke involving a 1962 play title but I thought most people wouldn't get the reference.

The play was Oh Dad, Poor Dad, Mamma's Hung You in the Closet and I'm Feelin' So Sad.

We are supposed to get the same storm today that's coming DR Cillaliz's way, but I haven't been paying too much attention. I have a fairly short commute, and it's all on flat terrain.

Good morning, all! I always sleep lousy on those nights before I have to be up at a certain time and last night was no exception.  Still, I was up and dressed by 6:15, and i will hopefully make my trip to East 23rd Sreet this morning in good time.

I remember bits of a dream about orchestrating something - "the song "Lady Be Good," maybe? - for a rehearsal and telling my assistant that I wanted to recopy the trumpet parts before rehearsal.  The conductor in the dream is one of Broadway's worst asses.

DR coleslaw, I saw the FANFARE review three months ago; it had been sent to the composer's daughter and I was asked to correct errors before it went to print.  I corrected things - there was no way in 1954 that THE GOLDEN APPLE could have been recorded complete because of changes to the score between the off-Broadway and Broadway productions and only 1/3 of the score was recorded, not 2/3 as the review says. - and the jerk reviewer did nothing.  This is how bad rumors perpetuate.

The ROBERTA recommendation really perked me up.

So, after my eye exam this morning, I will board the No 7 bus and head home.  Work continues on the Dreidl Song. I've also got several Christmas CDs I want to downloiad to my iTunes.

One of Broadway's Worst Asses

That could be the title of the autobiography of several people....in one way or another.

I have a paperback script of 1776, DR ELMORE.....I particularly requested the copy from DR VIXMOM because it sounds like it's nice AND it will look good in the display case in the lobby next August!

We are expecting temperatures in the 50's all week, so I think we can remove the threat of snow.....at least for now.

Good morning, all.

Got a busy day today.  I woke up in the middle of the night and tossed and turned for a while, but finally got back to sleep.  Monday vibes to all!

In the house I lived in until I was eleven, there was a storeroom in the basement that had a lot of weird stuff.  I stayed away from it.

And I was going to suggest Broadway's Worst Asses as a new hit reality show.

HBO just had a free preview weekend, and I wound up recording 5 movies I'd never seen before.

Watched KILL THE MESSENGER and KINGSMEN last night.  Enjoyed them both.

Also recorded are DRAFT DAY, WILD and UNBROKEN.

Wife Sandy gets her neck X-rays this morning and sees the doctor tomorrow.  If he clears her, she'll be able to drive again.
