Thanks, DR John G!

I'm off to the basement to clean up the package-wrapping table because 'tis the season.

Bye for now!

I finally got myself moving and went to the market and bank. On my way I ran into my favorite harpist Karen Lindquist who sends BK birthday greetings.

Now that I am back, I think I'll tidy a bit and try to accomplish something.

George, I love that Manhattan Transfer logo, too.

If I ever decided to get a tattoo (which I don't think I ever would), that would be what I'd get. :)

35 years ago, I was a freshman in college. We were having our Christmas party at our adviser's house when word came through that John Lennon had been killed. It does not seem that long ago.

I don't like anything enough to want it tattooed on my body. Not even the Follies logo.

I'm up, finally - I actually had set the alarm so I wouldn't sleep past ten-thirty, but it didn't go off - I guess IT was wishing me a few more hours of sleep - I think I got nine.

I don't like anything enough to want it tattooed on my body. Not even the Follies logo.

My niece has four tattoos:  the Seattle Storm women's basketball logo on the inside of her left forearm, a rainbow Pride tattoo on the outside of one of her legs near her foot, a stylized Canadian maple leaf on the inside of her right forearm, and the "13" logo from the "Warehouse 13" TV show on her back upper right shoulder.

Happy Birthday, BK.  Hope you are "gamboling" on your special day.  As for me, I am dancing the hora in your honour and eating ham hunks and cheese chunks with celebratory flair.

I think that the fact I can do any kind of jog at sixty-eight is pretty good.

They condo crew are working on the sump pump in our garage.  The alarm went off to alert them of the water before it became a problem.  At least it won't be if they can fix it sooner than later.

From today's Notes:

"...since not one human being has actually asked me to do anything for my actual birthday...so perhaps a quiet birthday is the way to go, unless someone surprises me and says let’s go do something."

Well, this non-human did invite Mr BK for a birthday lunch, which could have been today. But said non-human cannot hie herself to Studio City, so the birthday lunch will have to wait a bit, until those with driving vision can hie themselves nearer to me.
