Did a jog, bought flowers, and can now relax and get ready for the sound check and show.

My need to give up theatre is growing more an more strong as each day processes.  I'm not cut out for the dog eat dog, clique forming, back stabbing, "let's play theatre" attitude of the theatre world in the bay area.  So, my decision will be to quietly to less and less.

Sounds like my "Babes in Toyland" experience with Houston Grand Opera, 1990-91! Horrible experience.

IMDB says only that Robinson offered "friendly" testimony, but I really don't remember him being written about in the books on the subject......

Here is an article that puts a light on what the movie says.....and reading what MR BK wrote about it - the movie seems to be a bit off track.

The article makes the mistake, at least in the headline - of combining the HUAC and Sen. McCarthy in the same action.

HUAC was a House committee which Senator Joseph McCarthy was not involved with.  His search for Communists in government, industry, and the armed services was something entirely different.

Well, a little earlier this afternoon, I had my evaluation from my supervisor and she gave me a pretty good evaluation.

So, they're letting me stay. :)

Now, I need to have the meetings with my staff (which I won't do until Friday), and then I'll be done with the process until next year!

Perhaps Matthew should just move to LA.

bk - don't think it hasn't crossed my mind!   However, I'm too established with my real job to start over anywhere.

Off to the first of six performances of the fiddler show (2 on Saturday) -an experience that I wanted to be fun, but has already turned into a chore.
