A two-week, round trip cruise from Los Angeles to Hawaii, and back.

Actually, I haven't exchanged gifts with very many friends. I don't know why. $:-\$

Well since I have had it up to here with working I would like Santa to bring me a winning lottery ticket with enough winnings to be able to walk away from my job and never have to work again. I don't need to live like a millionaire but it would be nice to be able to fix the house up a little, and be able to see the occasional Broadway show and to travel to see family and friends

Wednesday morning greetings! I will be E & T most of today. In an hour I'm having my hair permed so that I don't have to fuss with it during my eye surgeries. From there I will go directly to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate Becky's birthday over lunch. I may try to finish up Christmas shopping before I come home.

TCB, I've heard the argument, too, against gift cards. The recipient sees just how much you spent on them, etc. I think it may be somewhat generational. Usually when I get a gift card (and it is rare), it's for a business I don't generally patronize, so I'm not always thrilled with them.

I am sorry to say that I do not like E.T. The Extraterrestrial.....and even though it comes with the highest recommendation possible, nothing could induce me to see BFG.
