DR Laura, the doc decided I had high blood pressure at a pre-op exam (tiny surgical thing, just had a cyst removed).  He diagnosed me as suffering from White Coat Syndrome at the same time (totally true), but said the blood pressure should be lower anyway, so he started me on the medication.  That was eight years ago and it's totally in control and doing better than ever on one li'l pill per day.

A very happy birthday to DR William F. Orr -- who I do not know, but everyone else around here seems to think he's a fine fellow!

Friday morning greetings!  It's Christmas Eve Eve and I'm not as behind as I thought.  Just have a couple more presents to wrap and a coffee cake to bake.  I might even get to the southern Dayton 'burbs to pick up a book that's on hold for me.

Good morning, all!  I slept in, bathed, and had a nice phone call with Rob Berman.  I'm running late on all systems.

I have plenty of work for the next four days. I will head out to the market and bank.  i need to get some big bills for my super's Christmas card, and I need to pick up a gift certificate at Narnes & Noble.

DR JANE is enjoying the flora and fauna in Texas. Linked from BookFace, so if you're not a member, you may not see it.

I liked DR LAURA's new quote.  It reminds me of what I heard at WalMart yesterday:

"Bambi to the stockroom please - Bambi.  Bambi to the stockroom please....."

I kept looking but I never saw her.

Jane, looking forward to out get-together tonight. I won't be singing about Luckenbach. I've never been. I keep wanting to go. Never have made it.
