We had a couple of wee ones that we saved. One was just tiny. One whole litter we saved when the mother rejected them at birth. I have bottle fed LOTS of kittens over the years.

Of course, that was before Facebook and internet publicity and the like.

Picked up a package, went to Gelson's, came home and made some Wacky Noodles with chicken - very good and very filling.

Listened to Blitzstein's Regina, which I'd never heard all the way through, and am now listening to other stuff.

My biggest fear is that I'll bring a cat home and they will detest each other.

That is a big possibility.

91%!  We've gone up 3% today, and only 9% to our goal or about 1200 bucks.

Soooo, are you going to get Petunia?

No, sadly.  Much as I love little Petunia, I think I need to find a cat closer to Annabelle's age.

You may be better off getting a tiny kitten, it may well bring out Annabelles maternal side and there will be no question about hierarchy as there may be with a cat that is more Annabelle's peer

Vixmom, it's a better out-of-context quote than an in-context quote.

The milkweed was too dead for queen butterflies to lay eggs on. I just thought it sounded funny.

Yes, it is better out of context. Out of context, it's very funny.

I was ridiculed by two Chinese friends today because I wouldn't eat the chicken feet at dinner.

I had a coupon for $2 off $10 or more of fresh meat at the local supermarket...I found a package of 2 nice shell  steaks for only $10.32... So we had steak dinner for 2 for $8.32 + another $4.58 for a small vidalia onion, some mushrooms and a bag of "steam fresh" broccoli florets
