Finishing up the latest Harry Bosch, Two Kinds of Truth. It's OK. I think Connelly is getting influenced by the TV show. Harry goes undercover in this one.

Good stuff on the opioid crisis.

Now watching the extras of The Lure, which includes two shorts made by the director. The first is Aria Diva, which is supposedly based on Ariadne auf Naxos.

DR Kevin did you have a nice day?

Thanks for asking, DR Jane!  Yes, on the whole.  It started out with an appointment with my opthamologist.  I was there for 2 hours.   Barbra was Ellen's show, so that was fun.  I spoke with DR Catherine/Kate, my nephew, my niece, other friends.  And my friend of almost 40 years took me to dinner.

I saw a clip from the Ellen show 😊

DR Ginny did you have trouble with your foot tonight?

No, I’m wearing the “boot” from my foot surgery 9 years ago.

Smart.

But I also just discovered that if I take off the ace bandage wrap I can get my left shoe on.  Everything’s a trade-off...

I thought you needed to keep the bandage on.

Influenced by the tv show sounds like a good thing to me.

I have never had coconut pound cake.  While I like pound cake I am not a big fan of coconut.   I would be curious to taste it.

A few minutes ago, I saw a commercial for tonight's "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert."  The guest that was announced was Gayle King.  Her guest spot was also just mentioned on the local CBS-affiliate news broadcast.  She's not listed in the guests for tonight in the Comcast on-screen guide description.

KIRO News said that tomorrow was going to be unseasonably warm.
