The visiting nurse came and went.  I'm going to a liquor store.

DR JANE - I never put the two Cassidys together until I read specifically that they were related....it was weird to me....because I didn't much like Jack Cassidy - probably because of the pompous, vain characters he played.

My daughter-in-law's request for Thanksgiving was potato salad. I made it last night and tasted it this morning. Um, I think I will have to make some more.

Oh my...

Well, the liquor store where I usually shop has gone out of business, a thing I discovered when I got there.  Damn!

So I must make a longer trek.  That will involve buses so I'll go out around 3:00.

I worry about Thatch being constantly in fear because Annabelle certainly keeps him terrified and anxious.  He's a bit afraid of leaving the cage today.  So, I'm happy to see he's amusing himself with the fishie on a pole and his catnip mice.

I couldn’t resist. I bought a half gallon of Blue Bell’s Christmas Cookies ice cream with snickerdoodle, sugar cookie and chocolate chip dough all together. Delish.

I'm up, I'm up - again.  Was up at six for a couple of hours - have no idea how much sleep I did or didn't get.

The wonderful Russian baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky has died at the age of 55.  He had been ill for some time with cancer.

I just read about that. :( Classic Arts Showcase would randomly show videos of his performances.  I enjoyed watching them and listening to him.

The wine is purchased and I am not going out again today.  It's a complete nightmare from people trying to get to Columbus Avenue to watch them blowing up the Macy's Parade balloons, which has blocked off streets and screwed up traffic, to traffic heading out of the City via Amsterdam Avenue

So, for the second time in 30 minutes Annabelle went into Thatch's cage, licked his head, then put his neck in her mouth as though he were her baby, and moved him.  He did not fight back.

I saw David and Shaun and Petula Clark in Blood Brothers at the beautiful Music Box Theatre on Broadway.

My friend Marika wrote on BookFace today that she had dinner with David during the run of BB....she is friends with some cousins of his....I don't know if they are from the Cassidy or Ward side of the family.

I just bought the CD of their production.  The Amazon market seller listing said that it was used, but "very good."  I'd owned it before, but it was stolen from my garage about 8 years ago. :P

Thanks for all the dental vibes. I'm not quite ready for normal food yet, but the soreness is almost gone. I'm making progress.
