Tonight, I'm going to my friend pug's annual Yule Feast! It starts at 7:00 pm or so, and goes into wee hours of the morning. I don't stay till the end, but I certainly stay for quite a while. A lot of food and drink are consumed and a great time is had by all!

The vibes worked and I now have 2 pairs of unscratched, fairly light weight, polarized sunglasses that fit me. One pair is a duplicate of my old scratched ones.

Thatch is no fool. I think he's aware that my washing his eyes keeps them open. They were sealed shut this morning. He was docile during that and even took his oral wild cherry-flavored medicine calmly. I followed it up with some Gerber chicken and gravy baby food which he lapped right up. Then he fought me like hell over the eye salve, ran away as soon as it was over, but just now he was rubbing against my leg.

Something I miss at Rockefeller, which has now been gone a number of years:

The coffee shop on the lower level. I think it was in between the two main corridors. Know the one I mean? Maybe it was the luck of the draw, but I enjoyed a few exceptionally delicious meals there.
