Sauce is simmering away.  This stove is fantastic - different burners for different thing - so sauce is on the small simmer burner and when I do the pasta there's the big-boy burner for "quick boil."

I am baking something gingerbread like in the ridiculously expensive pan I bought at the baking store. I think I will take the goodies to the neighbors. Maybe.

https://www.amazon.com/Nordic-Ware-COMIN18JU092703-Bundt-Charms/dp/B06W2H762W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1514154075&sr=8-1&keywords=nordic+ware+charms

I didn't pay that much for it, though. Not quite.

For a whole two seconds, I wanted one of those, but not quite.

Watching Dangerous Christmas of Red-Riding Hood. What a cheesy, wonderful mess with Cyril Ritchard so over-the-top campy and Liza as raw and irresistible, all gargantuan hands and angles.

I think I've figured out Annabelle's constant need to leave the apartment.  It has to do with all the feral cat odors from 30-40 years ago and the basement freaking her out.

Getting ready to head out for dinner. The temperature has dropped 10 degrees in the last hour, and it may get down to freezing again. Hopefully, no more snow.

Started watching A Pocketful of Miracles. Capra felt he got stuck with Hope Lange, who got the part only because she had a relationship with Glenn Ford at the time. I liked her later (Blue Velvet), but I really don't like her here. I do enjoy a lot of the rest of the movie.

John, I figure that the pan has to be washed after each batch and rebuttered and floured so that the ... whatever they are ... don't stick. I guess it is something I will use when I have all day to kill.

It's snowing in Tumwater! :D

I set up the inflatable in a t shirt, it's that mild!

At first I thought Vixmom was trying to put a t-shirt on the inflatable snowman.

Watched a little of Wonder Woman - I'll see how it progresses, but right now I'm not finding much to enjoy - it's just a typical one of these things that starts with portentous and DEEP-voiced narration, then goes to a history lesson filled with all the usual CGI crap we see in every one of these movies.  So, did this get the raves it did simply because it's a female superhero and the direction is by a woman (directing exactly as a man would)?  Because if that's the case there is something seriously wrong with people today.  But then I haven't liked any of these so-called joyless superhero movies of the past two decades.  And it's not like there haven't been other female superheroes within those movies.  Hopefully this will become enjoyable at some point.
