Interesting game, Vixmom.  I don't understand it, so I won't even try to play. ;)

And now, I must be off.  My niece's aunt is having a retirement party and I was invited, so I'm going.  I don't know how long it'll last, but I would expect not too long.

Be back later.

Heartiest congrats to MR BK & CO. on all of the Robby Noms!!!!  When are the presentations?  I think you ALL should definitely be in attendance.

We just watched a local PBS special about the renovation of Cincinnati’s Music Hall.  We’ve resolved to get there to see a performance soon.

I'm finding the Ralph's prepared food bar much better than Gelson's and much more variety.

This hasn't been my favorite day.  I did do more conforming of the Levi script but I'm just really bored of irritants right now - REALLY bored.

We just watched WIND RIVER.

It's a good film.  My wife and I enjoyed it.

However, I think we would have enjoyed it much more if we could have understood more of the dialogue.

This is a perfect example of the problem with movies these days.

I don't know if it's the fault of the actors, the director, the person recording the sound, or all of them, but there are so many films that have been released the past few years where you have to struggle to understand the dialogue.  The same problem exists on some dramatic television shows, but not as much as in theatrical movies.

Last night, we watched THE RACKET, which was released in the early 1950s.  Every word of dialogue was crystal clear.

I guess this is one of the reasons why I avoid most of today's movies.

I’m having a problem understanding the current movie I’m watching. But that’s because it’s in Italian with Spanish subtitles. Michelangelo Antonioni and a spoof of moviemaking. Very amusing, somewhat confusing.

Back from bank and market.  It is brutal outside.  I'm going back to bed.

Is New Year's Eve supposed to be freezing in NYC? I am worried about all of those people who will be outside.

Wish she of the Evil Eye wasn't going to be here bright and early, but alas she is.  So, I'll go out to the garage and unbox some CDs and Blu-rays.
