Quote from: Druxy on December 29, 2017, 06:29:21 PM We just watched
WIND RIVER.
It's a good film. My wife and I enjoyed it.
However, I think we would have enjoyed it much more if we could have understood more of the dialogue.
This is a perfect example of the problem with movies these days.
I don't know if it's the fault of the actors, the director, the person recording the sound, or all of them, but there are so many films that have been released the past few years where you have to struggle to understand the dialogue. The same problem exists on some dramatic television shows, but not as much as in theatrical movies.
Last night, we watched
THE RACKET, which was released in the early 1950s. Every word of dialogue was crystal clear.
I guess this is one of the reasons why I avoid most of today's movies.
You're not alone with that opinion, Druxy. BK has been ranting about that problem for years.
Yes, BK has - makes you wonder where certain people have been and why they are always late to the partay.
Well, better late than never.

Perhaps certain people, who don't get free screeners, need to experience the situation for themselves before they express an opinion.
