George, thanks for you post last night about people who don't speak clearly. I have no doubt that your stage experience has made you a much better communicator.
Many years ago we had a secretary at work, late twenties, who had a nice speaking voice. I mentioned it one day to a co-worker. He agreed, and a day or two later complimented her and told her of our conversation. She said she'd wanted to be a disc jockey and had gone to broadcasting school. I would never have guessed that, but it certainly helped her in her office work. She came across much more professionally than most.
