IRS appointment set for Feb. 26, Joshie is creating piano-vocal scores for the transposed numbers, and Thatch is still hiding from me.  I have the Terramycin all set and ready.

Don't forget in doing your estimates to remind your accountant (assuming you use sch C and a lot of income is self-employment income, which he'll know!) your tax rate may be lower for 2018 income taxes.

If you're on W-2's mostly, never mind.  He'll already know what to do.

Is this a first, for Druxy to be first in the actual morning?

Could be.  I was up at 5.  The paper wasn't here yet, so I went on-line.

Do I get a prize?

 :D

I think actual "First after BK" gets a prize.  "First in the actual morning" just gets a respectful acknowledgment.  :)

Does anything rhyme with Daniels?  Tried to do "Stormy Daniels" to tune of "Stormy Weather,' but it's not getting anywhere.  :)

The Southern pronunciation of manuals.

Hmm, can he smell or see it or does he just know the time of day?

That's too bad.

For future reference:  "annuals" (noun, plural).  (Southern pronunciation?)

DR GINNY your card catalog looks fantastic!

Thanks, DR JRand!  I've been futzing with the space underneath and have installed a nightstand that Mom didn't have room for when she moved to assisted living.  It's been in our garage for 3 years, just waiting for a new home.  It now contains most of my needlework stuff.

Is that the nightstand in the photo?

DR CHAS SMITH I also use Turbo Tax.  It was offered free to us of a certain age by my bank.  So now I get a notification each January.  All of my information is saved, and I just have to fill in the numbers.

You might check around.....maybe your bank does that, too.

I think I'll walk to the bank now rather than later - it will help me shake off the morning groggy.

Watching Dog Day Afternoon for the first time in decades. Excellent movie. Riveting performances, from Pacino down to Carol Kane.

FREE?  Damn, that is nice.  No, they don't, unfortunately.  I don't think I've seen that offer from anyone.

I think H & R BLOCK does some taxes for free.....check their website.

I know I'm no longer as in tune with pop culture as I once was.  There are so many really famous people I've never heard of!

I guess it's time for me to stop feeling horrified when some of my neighbors say "Who?" when I've mentioned Wayne Newton or Bobby Vinton.  (Yes, they do come up in conversation.)

Great extras on Dog Day with Lumet, Pacino, Sarandon and Durning among the interviewed.
