Muse Margaret loved the reinvention of the character and all the new dialogue and the handful of other changes, so all is well and well is all. I've done nine pages so far and if I'm feeling my oats this evening I'll try to do another seven or eight. I have four or five more pages to go in the sequence I'm in, then it will be the final twenty pages or whatever it actually comes out to be.

Isn't one of them mislabeled? The one on the far right in the first photo, labeled Birch, is the one that's labeled Acorn in the second photo. If the first photo is correct I'd say that the kitten on the right in the second photo is Birch, not Acorn.

I liked MOONSTRUCK quite a bit, but everyone kept raving about how great Cher was. I felt Cher was OK, but it was Nicholas Cage who I thought was great. He wasn't known then, so people ignored him. I haven't seen a lot of his movies since, but found him so-so in those I did see.

Mostly straighten, but definitely some cleaning of a few areas I wouldn't expect anyone to go near, or wouldn't want them to. For instance, I always clean the cats' eating and pooping areas. I'm just using "clean" in a very all-inclusive sense here.

Is anyone watching the Masterpiece Theatre production of Victoria besides me? Tonight I cried like a baby at the final scene between Queen Victoria and the dying Lord Melbourne. I liked the first season, but this season, with the Mudlark, problems of family, politics, and intrigue is even better. Great casting, to boot. Diana Rigg has a wonderful role as one of Victoria's ladies in waiting; just when you think she's no more than a boring old lady joke, she surprises you.

Jane, I didn't feel season 5 was as strong as the previous seasons. It got off to a slow start, but it did warm up and reach typical A PLACE TO CALL HOME fireworks. I would encourage you to stay with it. There are some events later in the season which you should see, some unexpected twists. There's a season 6 in the works, so you'd want to see season 5, assuming season 6 is back to their usual standards.

Watching a Balanchine documentary on his birthday. Peter Martens does not come off bad, but he doesn’t come off exactly good either. Sadly the director didn’t get the basic fact that people watch dance documentaries to see dancing. There wasn’t much for the first 25 minutes.
