Today, I get to sleep in and then I have the matinee, then we're done until Friday.

But try not to get too excited, because I’m afraid that’s all I got!

I’m mostly consumed with trying to get a tree person to talk to me. This is “Eureka!” time for them, while the rest of us are in desperation mode.

This afternoon — just because I can — I’m going out to see another test screening in the theater Robert Harris is working on:  North by Northwest in Vista Vision 4K. The curtain isn’t up yet, but the jernt is coming along beautifully and the picture and sound will be incredible.

In other news, the crews have been working like crazy and we’re “supposed” to have our power restored by this afternoon. That in itself will take a lot of stress off things, so let’s hope it comes to pass.

I fed the cats at 6:30 and went back to bed,  Now I have a lot of kitty issues to tidy up today.  Thatch has become an aggressive litter tosser, so the area around the litter box looks like a war zone. It will take some time as well to pick up all the toys before I vacuum.

Surprise vibes for DR MICHAEL.

Interesting notes geographically speaking.....in my area, narrow, LONG lots were used for mobile homes.....

So to attract the young folks here, maybe we should refer to it as HHW Bar.

Vibes it does!  I know what it is like to be without power and water and heat or air.

I guess my wife and I are both getting slow in our old age.  Neither of us realized that the opening of last night's SNL was a spoof of THE SOPRANOS.

I do, too, and it ain’t fun. But thanks to the generator, we do have those things.

Meanwhile, they’re still at it down there.

The apartment is finally tidied as well as it can be with two crazy cats, and I'm ready for a lie-down.

Now that I've opened the linen closet door, Annabelle has retired to her old haunts when the apartment gets too chilly.  She and Thatch were playing in it this morning, and she's been sleeping there while I tidy up.

I'm up, I'm up - I was up at eight due to active brain syndrome (ABS).  I got up then, did some stuff on the computer, then went back to bed at nine but due to some noisy kiddies next door did not fall back asleep.  At eleven I'm giving corrections on a chart then going back to bed.

I always wanted a generator when we lived in Ashland.  We just toughed it out when we lost power.  Fortunately we were never without longer than some of our long stretches when we lived in Michigan.  At least our second home there still had water when the power went out.
