We ate at The Rock Wood Fired Pizza.  I see they have one in Tacoma.  DR TCB and DR George have you eaten there?

I've eaten at the Lacey location.  It's good food, but it's kind of loud.

Going to the big city tomorrow for a friend’s book signing, to be followed by a walking tour of Roosevelt Island (which is a major part of the book’s subject). I really wish it wasn’t going to be so hot, but what are you gonna do? Rght? Of course right. The bookstore is in Astoria.

What's the book?

We also had pizza tonight, a rare treat for us.  My delicious pizza was with artichoke hearts, red onions, sautéed spinach, Mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, pesto cream sauce.

Keith's sliced pears, caramelized onions, candied walnuts, dried cranberries, Mozzarella cheese, herb cream cheese spread, garlic butter, brown sugar pizza was incredible.

If your pizza had been in reach, I doubt I could have resisted helping myself, Jane. Sounds great.

I think San Antonio's becoming Laura country. Our projected temperatures for the next week could hit 108. And it's not even June yet.

Starting to watch The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie. Very droll. Very Bunuel.

An Austin theater group is doing Sunday in the Park With George. I may have to go up and see it.

Did a three-mile jog, which probably too me down to six hundred calories, so not enough for the day - think I'll head over somewhere and get something around three or four hundred calories.

They have it at the library. I'll have to put it on hold.

Bruce, do you have a Target nearby? It's a good place to buy things like razors.

Loving Demi-Dozen. I remember Portia Nelson recorded her own version of Sunday in New York.

I did go out and get a vegetable roll and a tiny bit of potato salad to bring the calorie count back to 1000, which I did.

A bit but not bad if you eat before it gets crowded.

If I counted calories I expect to have been well over 1,000 today.  I only walked about 6 miles, not a good combination when I want to lose a few pounds.
