John G, I'm glad you're enjoying MURDER AT THE BRIGHTWELL. I wasn't even aware that there was an audio version until I read your post. I listened to a few minutes of it. The narrator was quite good, I thought.

I had planned to take my car in for service today, but I slept very poorly and there was no way I could get up early and get it to them and still function. Instead, I took care of some laundry and other things around the apartment. I have lots to choose from! (Lengthy to-do list.)

Just scored a ticket for Long Day's Journey into Night for tomorrow night.  Seven-thirty curtain and three-and-a-half hours long, but Jeremy Irons and Leslie Manville - couldn't not try and thanks to our even there I got the one single that was left - ninth row center.  Guess the plan will be to go over the hill around four to get to Beverly Hills at four-thirty, park, go somewhere and have a leisurely meal (perhaps giving Nate 'n' Al's one final chance) and then walking around the nabe until seven.
