We’re relaxing in the shade on Times Square after purchasing great seats for WAITRESS matinee.

Thatch is stoned on catnip, and I have sent ten more agent submissions.

Watching Deadline —U.S.A. It’s late Humphrey Bogart, and he shows his age, but it’s a tight script and Richard Brooks’ pacing is wonderful.

The chili is finished, and when it cools, I will freeze it.  I did 16 agent submissions, so I feel quite good about the day.

I just discovered that eh library has half of the movies in my Netflix queue, including a number of Fritz Lang and Jean-Pierre Melville flicks that I want to see.

Now watching Wonderstruck, a movie that as I recall BK really liked.

Woke from a nap to the sound of rain beating against my windows. The rain has been really good for my cucumbers.

Those are wonderful photos!  I'm ready to return for more margaritas and enchiladas.

In that order, yes.

It sounds good to me.

I think we had that dinner when you came to San Antonio. Or something like it.

Yesterday, I went Legally Blonde prop shopping!  I got almost $30 of stuff from the local Dollar Tree, then I got a few things from a couple of other places.  I ran into my friend Marsha at Fred Meyer and she said that I could borrow her laptop that she never uses!  I still need to find out how many they'll need.  Hopefully, not too many.

Speaking of the Dollar Tree.....

Keith put up a scathing review of the strange hotel we stayed at in Detroit, the one with the concrete flow and large ugly tub in the room.  He mentioned the decor of Dollar Store furniture and they responded with a thank you for the review ;D

Ha!

The "closet" was a plastic rack to hang clothes on.  It wouldn't have been so bad had they provided more than 2 hangers.

Maybe go to a store like the Container Store or Ikea that sell computer desks. They sometimes have "display" laptops that are made of cardboard or plastic. Perhaps they have them for sale or they could direct you to a place that you can buy them.

That's an idea.  Thanks, Michael!

I believe so, and the empanadas as an appetizer.  It was all exceptionally good.

SOLO was better than I expected.  There were a few fun moments seeing how relationships began.  I had to remind myself Harrison Ford in the role cannot be duplicated, but then neither would a younger Harrison Ford been as perfect a match.

From the wonderful Wonderstruck to an oddity among oddities. I'm now watching The Road Movie, a documentary of images taken from the dashboards of cars driving through Belarus. There's lot of snow and ice, not to mention cursing and an amazing amount of accidents, which some of the cameras just stop for and keep running. It's like a documentary of rubbernecking (which I loathe), among other things.
