Just got back from Boston a little while ago. When I heard "Moulin Rouge" was not coming to Broadway until summer 2019, I got me to the bus station (only two blocks away) and went.

It was fun spending some time in Boston for the first time in 24 years. (I'd taken the train to Boston on the way to a family gathering in Belmont at one point, but went right from the station then.).

Interestingly, the stage door of the Colonial Theatre is steps away from what used to be called the "Combat Zone," Boston's Red Light district, which has been cleansed up as well as the old 42nd Street (preserved in films like "Taxi Driver") in Manhattan has been.

Monday evening greetings from HOME! We added more than an hour to our trip with a stop in Lima to visit with our former parishioners, then drove into torrential rain that forced us onto back roads to get out of the interstate back-ups. We’ve unpacked and had pizza for dinner and I’m trying to stay awake to watch ELEMENTARY.
