I am up so early because I have a scan scheduled for 6:30 a.m. It is for my oncologist with whom I have an appointment on Tuesday - when I will get the results.

I also have a blood draw tomorrow - but that is at least at 9 a.m.

It is raining.

Nothing huge, not an all day affair, but enough that it should rightly have been, you know, “forecast”?

Too many to single out just one. But the night of the exploding steaks comes to mind.

Bonnie was cooking steaks at a friend’s house. She had set them a Pyrex to warm up to room temperature before cooking and she placed the Pyrex on the stove without realizing a burner was on. Thankfully no one was in the kitchen when the dish exploded sending glass chards everywhere.

Lasy night the kitties and I watched Goodbye Christopher Robin, a rather sad and rather accurate look at A.A. Milne's marriage and exploitation of his son after the success of Winnie The Pooh around 1927. It's a beautiful film with a very good cast, especially the little boy who plays the 8-year-old Christopher Milne.

After this, I no longer have any wish to see the cuddly Disney film.
