We've made our building patrol: no goblins on Annabelle's watch. She met two neighbors who told her how pretty she is, so she feels it was a hood patrol.

We saw a polar bear this morning. It was pretty far away but we still saw it. One of the crew members got a land telescope for us to watch him through, oh so cute 😊😊😊

Since the bear is where we intended to walk early this morning the walk was cancelled.

We watched the polar bear guards go out in the zodiac to search for a new place to walk. Groups have already begun their walks and we shall go soon. It will be much shorter than our original plan for the longer trek.

When my friend and I moved to LA in 1972 we expected to be there for one or two years, max, then head back east or to wherever jobs took us. Seventeen years later I ended up being transferred east, and he still lives in Santa Rosa where he got married and raised a family.
