Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

In one sentence in the Hawthorne novel I'm reading, The Blithedale Romance, he used "thitherward" and "festoons."

Then in the memoir I'm reading tonight, A Place Called Sweet Apple, the writer used both "refulgent" (which reminded me of another favorite, "effulgent") and "haberdashery."

I'm listening to Heitor Villa-Lobos. The Bachianas Brasileiras No. 7. Lovely, lively stuff.
