I want In 'n' Out - that was the first place I went pre Taco Bell - three o'clock the drive-up line was a block-and-a-half long - what kind of moron does it take to wait in a line like that for a hamburger?  As I drove by the jernt itself it was jammed with people with huge lines at the counter.  Hence Taco Bell.

DR George, you are such a nice and helpful man, can I adopt you?  I don't have anyone in my family like you!

DR Jan, offer George a keychain. That might work.

That reminds me I need to remember where I put his keychain from Iceland.  I was kind of stressed when I unpacked after our trip.

Yes!  You definitely had other things on your mind.

Several years ago, at an Encores! production, I ran into Ted Chapin in the lobby, and he made a reference to something I had posted on HHW that very morning. You never know who the guests are reading these posts. Be careful.

Ted Chapin reads HHW?  That's pretty cool!

 ;)

Everyone reads Haines His Way.
Even me.

But does Guy Haines read Haines His Way??

My friend Margot just sent me a Facebook message asking to call her because she couldn't find her phone!  I called, but she didn't pick up!  We went to an early dinner tonight and I was thinking that maybe she left it at the restaurant!  But I called again and she answered!  Evidently, it had been on her nightstand and fell, but it slipped somewhere where she couldn't see it...but she did hear it.  Whew!

Yes, as I said before and am saying again - let's have fun here.  It's okay to vent about things - we've all done it, but we don't want to put anyone off who is a dear reader.  That's not what we're about and it's what separates the wheat from the chaff - although I have no idea what that means.  It separates us from other such boards.

Now, who has tried the toasted coconut almond chip ice cream.

I went to Costco today and got some coconut clusters.  I don't remember the brand or what else is in them, but they were quite delish!

Were?  Does that mean they are gone?

No!  It was a big 15 ounce bag and each serving (for nutritional purposes) is only a half cup, so it'll take me a while to get through it...maybe.

I went to an In ‘n Out in Las Vegas.  It was good, but not earth-shattering.

I did finish our new Porgy and Bess listening - it's just so good.  Now I'm listening to the Modern Jazz Quartet's incredible jazz cover of Porgy and Bess.

I do have some dog biscuits here but oddly no dog.  I bought them as treats because Grant frequently has his dog Baxter with him.  Baxter is very skittish and doesn't trust anyone, but he now knows where the treats are.
