  • Have a REALLY nice day!

From Bruce:
Quote
I do have some dog biscuits here but oddly no dog.  I bought them as treats because Grant frequently has his dog Baxter with him.  Baxter is very skittish and doesn't trust anyone, but he now knows where the treats are.

When our upstairs neighbor dog visits he goes to the cabinet with the dog treats though we rarely need to go to the cabinet as I usually carry them in my pocket.  We share them with many of the dogs around here and they all expect treats now :)

I think I neglected to say I was going to see a local production of URINETOWN last night. Well, I did, and it was very well done. It’s also only the second time I’ve seen the show. The first had to be at least ten years ago, and since I hadn’t paid it any attention through those years, I was thinking I liked it better than I apparently do. It’s certainly a fun score, but as marvelous as last night’s cast was, I wasn’t invested in the goings on.

Once was more than enough for us, however, if you have traveled in areas where they charge to use the bathrooms you can appreciate the concept of the show.

  • A person should celebrate what passes by.

Thanks for the vibes DR George.  I must be feeling better, energy & cold wise.  I took the time to find your keychain.  It was where I figured I left it, unpacked from a packing bag.

Thanks, Jane!  Can't wait to see it!

Topic of the Day:  "The Brain From Planet X," "Science Fiction-Double Feature" and "Star League Anthem" are the first three that come to mind. :)

Skip and I thank you for the plug!!!

TOD:  Danny Burstein  doing "Need to Know" from "Weird Romance" is an amazing number.  (It's a Menken-Spencer score). This was before we knew Danny from his doing Skip's show.

I do remember having to deal with a few pay toilet stalls in my time. Not for years, fortunately. And I'm not sure where, but I'm thinking they might have been more prevalent in places like Greyhound bus stations. This would put it back in my college days.

My friend Todd recently interviewed Brent B for Cabaret Scenes.   He mentions working with BK and gives a nice shoutout to DR elmore!

Back from picking up packages - save for the one they forgot to give me, which was actually the only one I was expecting.  I now probably won't get that until tomorrow as I don't really feel like driving back there.

I am at my book discussion meeting and no one else is here. There are a couple of women from the group finishing up a meeting but there should be more women in the main area of the clubhouse with me.

At least I am not home breathing the fumes from the newly textured ceilings in the guest bedroom and bathroom.

Our place is a mess and not safe for me to roam at night when I can’t sleep.

  • My web doesn't need to make sense to anyone else.

Today is young Wae-Ling's birthday.

She is 15. How did that happen??

We've had a whole conversation about Todd the actor, which is who I thought the author was.

Got a small residual for The Faculty from the WGA - forwarded from the old address.  That's the first WGA check I've seen here, so I called and realized I hadn't updated the address - so gave them the mail place address - there's another check that was mailed in April that I don't think I ever received, so they're checking on that right now and if it wasn't cashed, they'll issue a new one and that will come to me soon.
