As a result, after getting the audience to take this ride with us (despite the excessive scene changes) the entire production screeches to a halt just before it is to end.  Pity.

That's too bad.

I wonder if MR BK found any foodstuffs.

Thanks to MR BK for answering my questions yesterday.

AND NOW becuase I left my participle dangling, I shall tie it up.  I needed the igniter AND the motherboard on my heat pump replaced - it is over ten years old - and that was an additional $350....

The total repair was $855 - which is more than I have paid for several of the cars I have owned in my long life.

Consider yourself lucky, Jrand.  My parents had to replace their tankless water heater.  That cost about $750 (including tax but shipping was free), which I guess isn't a bad price.  However, the installation itself was a little over $3000! :o

I'm surprised BK found two supermarkets open today. Did they close early in honor of the holiday?

I went to a couple of different places looking for whipped cream.  One place only had a very inexpensive brand with hydrogenated oils and no cream. :P

I just looked it up and found this headline: Yes, Kelly Clarkson Actually Sang Live During the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

I think that she was the only one. And it made a huge difference. Most of the others are horrible lip synchers. And some on the floats were not even singing at the same time as the recording. The camera kept going away from the singer because it was so ridiculous.

Yes, something was off with Rita Orr.  It looked like she didn't realize it, so I think the directors probably did what they could to minimize the situation.

You could have gone to Walmart, BK, but if it was anything like the local one this evening you couldn’t get in the parking lot.

I ate my fair share of the turkey dinner, but then followed it up with three (3) desserts.

Karen, who runs the box office at TLT, made the cheesecake; but she said she refused to take home any leftovers.

That was on CBS.  I'm still going through the NBC broadcast.  I don't have nuch left, then I'll watch the CBS broadcast.
