Holy moley, DR Laura. Obviously I don't know your neighborhood and its "look", but knowing you, I can't even imagine what this idiot could have been complaining about.

I know.  It is difficult to imagine.

Living in a condo with a lot of rules and having been reported to a bronze sculpture in the wrong place, one that everyone loved and were upset we moved inside, rules are rules.  Some people cannot abide any variation from them.

Whenever we are annoyed by rules in our building that have been broken I joke "Where is _______ when you need her".  The blank is the person who does most of the reporting around here.

Back from a really fun run-through of the revue.  The author wasn't there so I could actually do my job and that was a big help.  The run-through ran seventy minutes, which is perfect, the order works, the comedy works, and after I gave a few notes and cleaned up some staging and that was that.  I picked up a couple of packages, then came home and had a little ice cream to tide me over till after the Kritzerland rehearsal.  Must now go rummage in the garage.

Well, we redid the planter outside of our entrance without getting permission.  Even the difficult person loved it.  On the whole we get the idea of rules for all to prevent something outrageous.  Often things slide unless someone reports you.  Our problems wasn't so much the rule we broke as a simple letting us know vs reporting us would have been the polite way to communicate, at least in our opinion.

I was in a production of Kind Lady many years ago.  We played in the round .

I played a nurse , my character was introduced an act II wherein I wore a nurses uniform

In Act III I was dressed in a red dress

An old man asked his wife "who's that blondie?" (Mind you I was standing about a foot away  from him)

In other exciting news, I just agreed to sub for a few nights in, um, The Bikinis (“a new musical beach party”) (“a non-stop celebration in song”) in March. 

Oy!

And a few hours later, another regional theater not far from that one is frantically looking for an MD, to start rehearsals immediately, for their own production of (wait for it) The Bikinis.

I bet the advertisers who rely on Dr, Phil's  ratings would be interested in that.
