Just got back from Kritzerland.  Great performers doing great on the songs.  Really fun except for this old guy who kept getting up on the stage to talk about everything.  Think his name was Bruce or Bob or something. ;)

That's great to hear, jan!  And not unexpected. ;D

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

For book 2, I'm #35 of 40 holds for 5 copies, and for book #3, I'm #7 of 32 holds for 5 copies, too.

The movie was so much fun I just might wait for the sequel instead of reading the books.

I don't know (yet) if it's a pledge drive show or the whole show.

Three former co-workers were there.  A former social worker, my former boss, and the former administrator of Children’s Services.

They said they enjoyed it; as did the rest of the audience.

Last night I mentioned that little Virginia’s grandmother raved about my performance.  What I didn’t mention was that Mr. Grandfather was standing next to her when she was talking to me.  He never said one word to me, or even looked at me.

The Kritzerland show was really terrific tonight.  Sadly, can't say the same for the matinee of A Carol Christmas, which made me actively angry.  After one really great show (Friday) and an almost-great show on Saturday, several in the cast basically took the show into the toilet today - flubbed lines, lyrics, low energy, and the fact that they cannot stop themselves from doing it is kind of amazing to me - in my acting days if I felt we weren't getting through to the audience, it just made me amp up my energy until we got them.  Unfortunately, we had a critic today - heaven knows what he'll write, but I suspected he wasn't going to like it anyway - he didn't like Levi either, and this is a guy who LOVES everything that he sees.  So, tomorrow the cast will get a group e-mail from me and they have next weekend to pull it together, or we will have what they don't want to have - pick-up rehearsals until I'm satisfied.  Because I will not have a repeat performance of what happened today.

Today there was another woman who came up to me and raved about my performance.  Her (I assume) husband stood next to her and he never said one word to me, nor would he even look at me.  It was weird.

Both of those situations are weird.  That's too bad.

I stopped for coffee on the way to he show, and the barista, who I see every week, was asking if I was going to watch the Seahawk game.  I explained that I couldn’t watch because I was doing a show over at the Lakewood Playhouse.  She said that was a real coincidence, because her little sister is currently starring as Annie in the 5th Avenue’s production of ANNIE in Seattle.  Wow!  She had me beat.

She said she would try to come see our show, and bring her sister with her.  Since they have two Annies, I guess she could do that.
