Well, you've read the notes, the notes rose, and now it is time for you to post until the rising cows come home.

I've been working on louderizing three tracks for Bunbury.  They were too soft and the program can't raise the volume too much, just bring it down to absolute quiet.  Now, those are done and the program will have much more wiggle room for the volume control. :)

I'll replace the original tracks when I go to the theater today.  I'm actually going in early so that the director and I can add all the preshow and intermission music.  THEN, it should all be done...hopefully!

It was so cold last night that around 9:15 I piled the blankets onto the bed, and by 9:30 the lights were out.   Annabelle and I spent the night buried under the blankets while Thatch slept on top of the comforter.  I folded a corner of that down to cover him so he was sheltered from the breezes. It's currently 20 degrees F outside.

Yesterday I only went out for five minutes to retrieve the trash cans and the mail. I knew to bundle up, but I still froze my ASS off. I’ve certainly been in much lower temperatures. And there wasn’t even any wind. But somehow this week’s twenties are just brutal.

I'm going to spend some part of today laying out the scores for this Viennese operetta medley.  All three songs are written in the key of G and 3/4 waltz tempo, so I've got to think about getting variation into this medley.

Today I must drive down to Cat Clinic to pick up Poe’s prescription food. While out, I might as well stop at a market for a couple of things. Other than that, my time shall be spent on A Chorus Line.

One irritating repeating dream this morning. The night before there had been a more substantial one involving Porgy and Bess. And so it goes.

Never did get around to scaring up any New Orleans-ish food this week. And this year our store didn’t get in any King Cakes. Well, it happens. Oh yes. These things happen.

T.O.D.

I love ice cream, particularly the various ones that include some for of chocolate.

My father was a big fan of Rocky Road.  He'd buy a gallon, then hide it at the bottom of our large freezer, so nobody else would eat it.

Didn't work!

Ah yes, the T.O.D.

Vanilla. Vanilla. Vanilla. In approximately that order. I also love chocolate, strawberry, coffee, green tea, pistachio, and many others. But a good quality vanilla is what I judge anyone’s ice cream by, and it’s such a favorite that when I indulge in a milkshake or soda, I never seriously consider any other flavor.

There really are too many ice creams to rank. Cherry Garcia is fabulous, as is the non-dairy version I had literally by accident, made with almond milk. It was almost more creamy and delicious than the original.

Everyone knows sleep is important, but most of the articles I see on how to sleep better seem to assume that their suggestions are all doable. What if you have noisy neighbors? What if you live in an apartment and can't control your environment that much? Ugh!

DR Jeanne have you ever tried a white noise machine?  I am obsessed with mine and put it on when i read or sleep. It blocks out all other noise and is just amazing.

Thursday morning greetings!  Another no commitment day for me, but we do have to go to the grocery along with everybody else who's expecting a snowstorm tonight.

TOD - Graeter's Toffee Chip.  They had a special flavor for February - Cherry Chocolate Chip - which was pretty fabulous and reminded me of Cherry Garcia.

Both cats are acting particularly rambunctiously today.  I've cleaned up a mess Annabelle created and another mess Thatch is responsible for.
