I am home with a prescription for new glasses. Before I left, Annabelle vanished. I'm sure she's somewhere in the apartment; I don'y think she sneaked out while I was making laundry runs, but she's not in her usual spots, and I'll worry until she turns up.

I let Stella out to play and Thatch actually approached her and sniffed her butt. Then she chased him and he ran away. Annabelle has appeared, so I am greatly relieved.

I would have preferred the stairs. Instead you have to badge out, wait for the elevator, badge in on the new floor, get your coffee, badge out, ride down and badge in again.

That sounds terribly annoying. Does it mean you are not allowed to take the stairs? I prefer the stairs whenever possible.

I always take the stairs when able. Up to 10 or so stories.

I've discovered Annabelle's new hideout. She drives me mad: she'll hang all over me crying for food, then vanish. I can call her like mad when it's dinner time and I can't find her so Thatch ends up eating his dinner and hers. Then, as soon as I begin to open a package, she appears and hangs all over me to see what I'm doing.

Pet supplier Chewy.com uses a shipper named Lasership. $60+ worth of kitty treats and meds were supposedly left at my building two days ago. I have no idea where the package is, and Lasership says they are"investigating." Chewy is sending a new shipment, but this is the third time this month some idiot delivery person has supposedly delivered a package I never received. Last week UPS left a package for 202 West 81 #3C for me. I live at 3C, West 82!

It took a week of neighbors bringing it up to me before I finally wrote on it WRONG STREET! It's no longer in the lobby.
