Today, I'm having lunch with my friend Margo and her friend (who is now my friend, too) Marsha.  Marsha and I have the same birthday (May 5), and so we've all been having a birthday lunch together for quite a few years.

I have lots of work today.  I'd like to get 2.5 numbers finished today.  The obstacles arte three cats, all of whom love to climb on my worktable and help me make decisions, and my urge to nap.

Speaking of three cats, Stella and Thatch have spent the morning, while I prepared their breakfast and my coffee, romping and running around together.  Last night I caught Annabelle grooming her.  14 days and all is good.

No big plans for the day. Nathan and Kristi just have a thing to do this morning which they’re already off to. We’d intended to grill some burgers and dogs this afternoon, but the week has been so crazy we couldn’t even get to cleaning the grill for its first use this season, so we’re invoking the recent fried chicken TOD and getting a bucket of KFC or maybe Stew Leonard’s “southern fried”. No muss, no fuss.

Tomorrow evening I’m off to the Bedford Playhouse to see DOUBLE INDEMNITY which I’m totally looking forward to.

I don’t know if this one is a 4k deal, but no matter. It’ll just be great to see it perfectly presented in this theater. It would be especially nice if Robert Harris is there for it. We shall see.

Annabelle and I have made our patrol after Stella proved a complete nuisance to my cleaning the litter boxes.  I need a run to the corner bodega for the eggs I forgot to purchase last week before I settle in to work.
