It was not a cheap meal but it wasn't overly expensive either

They also very kindly accommodated my menu change requests, the Peking duck was supposed to served on a baguette with fries, I requested the crepe and salad instead and they did so at no additional charge

Monday evening greetings! Richard went to the Memorial Day service at our local cemetery and then we went to Mariemont, a Cincinnati suburb, to hear our friend Rick play the carillon. We visited with him for a bit and came home by way of a car dealership that was closed (which was how I wanted it!). We scoped out the vehicle I’ve been looking at online and tomorrow we’ll go back to shop in person.

We ate breakfast with Craig and then walked to a small indoor gallery of shops. While Craig was making a small purchase he added a keychain I was holding to his items

We then walked back to the hotel with a few stops until Craig found an Expo shirt he liked. Since he had already checked out we all returned to our room.

Then we walked over to a vintage store Kate wanted to check out. It was a large shop in an old building with a floor that buckled in so many places it felt a bit like a rolling ship.

I know DR Jrand and a few more of you would enjoy shopping in this store.

From there we had to check out a few breweries. I dislike beer and had a wine in the first location which was only worthy of a few sips.

At the second stop Bryan convinced me to try a white wine cooler. It was refreshing and half a tall glass quenched my thirst.

Walking back through Chinatown we stopped for a late lunch at a highly rated noodle restaurant. We watched them twirl and shape the noodles by hand, super cool and fun to watch.

The veggie noodle bowl was fantastic! I am not normally a fan of noodle soup bowls and ate twice as much as normal.
