Nothing new, and Neve is doing well.  She's been climbing on me all evening...which made me realize that I'll need to clip her nails very soonly! :o

BK,

Do you have to take the written Driver's License test every time you renew?

It's been well over 10 years since I had to renew a California Driver's License, so I don't recall.

In Texas, if you already have a license from another state, all they do is give you an eye test.

However, I wonder if next time, when I'll be over 80, if they will require more.

 :-\ :-\ :-\

In any event, good luck on the test.

Druxy, no.  I haven't had to take a test in twenty years.  But when you turn seventy and you get a renewal notice it's automatic.

BK, wishing you the best on your exam, but you'll do fine.  Look at how many complete idiots pass that test and drive daily as menaces on the road.

I took my last test around 1981 when I got my NY license.  I studied that stupid handbook for weeks, went into the exam feeling unprepared and completely terrified.  I missed one question.

I am working at home today, tomorrow, and Sunday.  The Samuel French materials for Promenade are a mess, and we have until Thursday's band rehearsal to get them in good shape.
