TOD I went to get my passport and had to stand in line for over an hour. I didn't kill anyone but I did end up in the hospital. It was an extremely hot day and there was no air conditioning. I finally got to the front of the line and started feeling dizzy. I woke up on the floor with some woman pouring water on me. paramedics took me to the hospital where I was poked, prodded, scanned, and tested for everything. They decided to keep me overnight so I had to call my brother to come get my keys and get my car from the post office. Turns out I have vasovagal syncope which means I pass out from blood pressure drop. But I'm okay!

I haven't been around much as we have had a new "neighbor" in one of the back yards around. A couple of weeks ago I was startled out of a sound sleep by a screeching at four fifteen AM. At first I thought an animal had gotten into the house but I knew the house was closed up tight. Next morning when I went to feed the stray cats, I saw the culprit. It was a very large, white....................

Peacock! I shooed it out of my yard but every night between 2 and 4 AM he starts screeching on and off until dawn. Last night was the first time in two weeks I haven't heard him so I think he may be gone. I was hoping to get a good nights sleep but instead I was up vomiting instead. Maybe tonight I'll sleep straight through.
