Just two minutes ago, the electricity shut off for two seconds - enough to shut off the damn computer, though. Nothing else was really affected, in terms of clocks having to be reset. And here I am three minutes later and things are still loading.

Starting to watch a French WWI drama called The Guardians. The previews looked great. It's a story about the women and old men left to run the farms while the young men went off to war.

I also read that a theater in D.C. is going to do a 24-hour reading of the Mueller Report, Vol. 2, on Jan. 11 with live streaming. I am going to try to watching some of that. They're using local politicians as well as members of the company. What a great civic service.

I just found out there's a book called Highway Patrol locations, then and now. It shall be mine. Meanwhile, the latest two episodes had two motels, both on Sepulveda way north near Devonshire, one of which, the Panorama, is still there. Then the other episode, which starred Clint Eastwood, was on Topanga up by Devonshire.
