Well, you've read the notes, the notes didn't like the apple fritter, so there, and now it is time for you to post until the frittering cows come home.

A Quiet Thing
Tell Me On a Sunday
What Can You Lose?
When I Fall in Love

These are just the first titles that popped into my head.

DR JANE et al - I had a good time at the Reunion.  Attendance was sparse with only about 35 or 40 folks there.

I decided before I went that I would talk to everybody and meet the ones I didn't know.  I was for the most part successful.

My chicken pasta salad was not very popular.  I realized as I loaded the car, that taking something made with mayo on a 90 degree day was probably NOT a wise decision.  Most of it was thrown away.

I loved the story of the Vixter's wedding dress....and of course enjoyed the photos on Facebook.

I guess DR VIXMOM will now have to be known as Mrs. Gotrocks since she is expanding her jewelry collection.

I am entering the month of July with no work lined up, and it frightens me.

T.O.D.

I've always had a special affection for Robert Mitchum's THE BALLAD OF THUNDER ROAD.

In fact, at my wedding reception, they played it as our exit music.

We saw over 20 theatres (mostly current or former movie theatres). I think the highlight for me was the Loew's Kings in Brooklyn.  I loved the wood in the huge lobby.

We went to the Tenement Museum on Monday.  It was really fascinating.  There are several tours you can take.  We took the Sweat Shop Tour.  It was kind of hot the day we took the tour, but there were fans, thank goodness.   I would never take the tour when it's in the 90's.   I'd like to go back in the fall or winter for some of the other tours, including one about Irish immigrants.
