McGlinn is credited as an arranger for one track, and you are for two.

Hmmm . . . McGlinn didn't arrange, he just brought in the SHOW BOAT chorus and Karla Burns from the 1983 revival, as I remember.  If he arranged anything, it would have been the medley from GENTLEMEN UNAFRAID with Ron Raines, but I'm not sure that's ever been on CD.

My memory of those sessions is that I scored "The Bullfrog Patrol" (I loved Joanne Woodward!) and a couple of things for Rod McKuen, who was a very kind man.  I might have written the chart for "April Fooled Me, but it's too long ago now.  Often Dennis Deal would call me and ask me to write a violin part for him.

I never had a cat harness.

That sounds like an enigmatic film title, like a cross between "I never sang for my father" and "The man who Loved Cat Dancing."

Patrol was quite short. Stella escaped and ran to the second floor landing where I caught her, while Annabelle rolled around the linoleum.

Do you still have the cat harness Annabelle didn't like?  Maybe Stella will adjust to it.

I never had a cat harness.

Did you have a collar & leash?

I stepped out at noon for the bank and Stella escaped again and again I caught her on the landing between two and three.

Maybe you should try a harness & leash for her ;)

I was about 45 minutes early and they saw me immediately.  The CT scan took all of five minutes and now I'm home at the time of my origfinal appointment.

You lucked out getting in early-that's great.

I will step out later to do some banking and have this CT scan of my sinuses.  With my luck, the rain will begin the moment I walk out of the apartment.

Good luck!

Ditto!!

Monday afternoon greetings!  We had a very busy day yesterday and Richard had an outpatient treatment at the pain center today.  We’re both taking it easy now.

Yesterday, around 1:00 I sent a college director the current draft of my Annabelle & Thatch book for his comments.  He had been a fan of the tales on Facebook, so I thought he might have some good feedback.  Last night I got an email from him around 7:00 with a paragraph of comments.  From them, I can only assume two things: he wasn't amused and he never bothered to read the opening chapter.

Yesterday was Fr. Richard’s quarterly scheduled visit to the Lima congregation, so I was up at 5:30 and we were on the road at 7:30.  He did a nice service at the retirement home where Mr. L lives and then 8 of us went to brunch.

We stopped in Piqua (about halfway home) to visit my cousin’s wife, who’s there at her Mom’s for the week.  The real attraction, though, was her 19-month-old daughter, Grace.  It was our first time to meet Grace and before we left she let me pick her up.

We got back to town with just enough time to get to the funeral home visitation for a longtime friend of Richard’s.  We prefer to attend the actual funeral service, but it was today at the same time as Richard’s procedure.

But she did have one.  I am checking my memory.  A collar then but not a leash?

Condolences to Richard on the loss of his friend.

Thank you, DR Jane.  David was really more of a long-ago friend, who lived next door (with his parents) to our first house.  He and Richard had lost touch after we moved and his parents died.  Our closest current connection to his family is his sister-in-law, who does all our picture framing.  She and her husband (David’s brother) and David’s sister were surprised to see us and make the connection.
