DR Jane, I know all about male cat's and their marking territory. To my mother's dismay, our male cat Fred was a real problem in the 1950s. That may be the reason he and Ethel ended up as barn cats on my Aunt Lois' farm in Columbus, OH. After that, my next cat was the Siamese Ming.

The woman who had her was given until last night to find her a new home by the landlord. She didn't have a choice. The mother cat was pregnant and left behind in an apartment. The woman raised all the kittens and got them and the mother adopted out.
