While at the hairdresser yesterday I watched another "interesting" color session. A very attractive woman in her sixties had her base color lightened to a platinum blonde, the the tips randomly tinted pink--bright pink. When it was done she turned to me and said, "Trippy, isn't it?" Trying to think of something positive to say, I told her it was very distinctive. Which it was. I cannot think why she wanted these colors.

:))  Your response was perfect :)

Blue, perhaps. But not pink.

I think pink is better than the clown red we have seen too much of.

No hail that I saw -- just rain off and on. It is delightful, seeing how we didn't have to drive in it.

I got to play toddler today. I gave him one of those "Popper" toys. He hadn't seen one before, and he had a GREAT time with it.

Back home after an interesting night of dance. My back is definitely doing better. But it's not perfect.

Back to Wild Rose. The performance is better than the character, at least as far as people I like to spend time with. Perhaps a little too wild. But then again, I'm old.

I got the new Dr. Seuss, Horse Museum, from the library today. Looking forward to leafing through it. I love the premise:

"Let's look at how different artists have seen horses. Maybe we can find some new ways of looking at them ourselves."

The best kind of rain.

Back from a very good rehearsal.  Ran act three three times - the third time started to feel like the play and ran a pretty tight twenty-eight minutes.

After tomorrow, it is going to warm up a little, so it can rain all weekend.

Then, just in time for Thanksgiving week, the temps will drop again, but this time with some moisture in the air.

And now, I must be off to the comedy competition.  I'm sure that it'll be funny...and possible interesting. ;D

sszBe back later.

Well, I didn't go in to watch any of the comics.  I could hear them from the lobby and wasn't impressed.

But instead of just working concessions, I and another volunteer served the beer and wine at the concessions counter.
