I am not sure I had any HIGHLIGHTS in 2019 worth speaking of again....but I shall think about it.

My niece reviewed LITTLE WOMEN and said pretty much what MR BK said.....

She writes for the magazine/blog BIRTH.MOVIES.DEATH.

I can't seem to escape being a poster child for "No Rest For the Wicked" syndrome. I need to be out most of today, I have a long rehearsal tonight, then I need to be out again tomorrow and we're back to the current show tomorrow night and for the weekend.

DR Laura, the photo is great, but we need more of Leonard.  It sounds as if you and he are getting along much better.

Stella nearly gave me a stroke when I left for therapy.  I was laden down with my bag, cane, the dirty litter for the garbage chute, and she made a run for it when I opened the door.  I had to put everything down in the hall and chase her down a flight of stairs.  I love her dearly, but she has no idea how close to death she comes when she pulls this.

Therapy is over and I need approval for more sessions,  Gurjeet is off from tomorrow through the 28th, so I hope I will find an approval waiting when he returns.

I've been thinking about my highs and lows of 2019.  Mostly, because of my health issues, it's mostly been mediocre, pretty much the same all the time, but things I can remember . . .

Highs
March, recording "The New Yorkers"
May, adopting Stella
Thanksgiving, wonderful dinner with good friends
December, release of "The New Yorkers" CD

Lows
Moulin Rouge, probably the worst piece of garbage I've seen in a theatre since the original production of "Carrie."

Fed Ex just delivered my first Christmas gift.  It was a wonderful, unexpected surprise that made my day.

Leonard is such a good kitty. I put up the Christmas tree and he is totally leaving it alone.  He looks at it and walks behind it, but he is not messing with it at all. He didn't last year, either, when he was a kitten.

LOL, Larry, there goes anyone involved with that show hiring you!  And there are like 1,000 composers on that show.

It's like 18 hours already and no calls. They probably stole it.

I am very happy about the impeachment, but I am very bothered by the GOP claims that this is simply Democrat revenge.  I don't know how these GOP morons like Gaetz, Jordan, and Collins cannot be outraged by separated families in concentration camps, children dying in cages, the ridiculous national debt, pardoning convicted war criminals, continually trivializing our national security, the destruction of ecology, natural resources, endangered animals, etc.  I would think everyone in politics would want to see this wannabe Hitler out of office and in prison where he belongs.

Exactly!

Re the impeachment: I always say the same thing, because no one can really dispute it, no matter which side you're on: Can you imagine the same exact scenario playing out but with a Democrat president - can you even imagine what the reaction would be if the Republicans knew that a Democrat-controlled senate had already made up its mind?  If the Democrats were lying and screaming what do you think the reaction would be?  Well, we all know.
